There were remains found in Canada of 100s of kids who had been killed and buried underneath old residential schools (within the past few months, these bodies have been found). The last of residential schools in Canada closed down in 1998. Like…. What? That's not history, but our present. Thousands of lives were lost to white arrogance, and judgement. The problems we are facing in the world and real and important. The answer is not to ignore these things and hope they go away. That only creates dissonance in our lives, and communities. Thank you for bringing attention to these serious issues. It's the only way change will happen.
Wow!!! We somehow made the murder of Gabby Petito all about race. Stop making anything and everything about race. It's getting really old. You guys act like every single white person that goes missing or gets murdered receives this kind of coverage. When, unless I'm forgetting something, I don't think ANY case in the US has gone THIS viral, regardless of what the victim's race was/is.

I Think Gabby's case is beinng reported more because her presence on social media and the amount of pictures abd vlogs she made… I dont think its because her race…
The system needs a revamping, I say this because of things I’ve seen, my stepfather was federal law enforcement, he worked with all the alphabet agencies, he had one case where a child had been kidnapped by the parent and taken out of state. My stepdad called the agencies he was associated with and to this day I remember the look of absolute rage and utter shock on him when he was told that federal law enforcement ( name of agenciy withheld) no longer handled child kidnapping claims/ cases due to budget reasons and where now a state concern.
I don’t expect anyone to believe that, and I don’t care if you do or not, all I can say is you weren’t there, I was, I saw it. If you want proof, do the research yourself. Look it up, you’ll be shocked
In the mentioned police body cam footage it was also clear that gabby was the primary aggressor in a domestic dispute. The police were required by law to arrest her. I'd like to mention that just because a girl looks exhausted and has been crying in no way proves she was being abused. She admitted to being OCD and that Brian was not supporting her website idea and he was a quote downer. I think the police did not arrest her bc she was a pretty blonde female who honestly couldn't really cause physical harm to baldo unless he was sleeping then she pounced. But had the police arrested her and then a protective order been put into effect I believe Gabby then would have had a no Brian period to think about leaving him. The police may have saved her life had she been arrested. Let's not convict men of being abusers just because their mate looks tired and crying bc ladies cry when they get emotional happy sad or watching s damn movie. We don't know why she was crying other than what she said. Speculation is not proof. We do know she was killed and he is missing staying well away without giving his story. Yes he probably did do it judging by his actions but in this country you are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Yeah if she wasn't a young beautiful girl the media would not be on this case like a horny dog on a leg. The media tends to put the beautiful on screen regardless of skin tone. Look at the Guillen case out of the Texas military base. She was a pretty Latina Chica. She disappeared after a higher ranking person stalked the shit out of her. She was trained in self defense and in killing as it is covered in basic training at some level. The plain looking lost just don't get the views. I think Baldo is on the Appalachian trail hiding out waay in the sticks where nobody is calling the law on anyone else.
It's the trifecta. Young, white & beautiful. The princess that needs saving. If Gabby was butt ugly or an old woman this would be very different.
