Hi friends,

Another video this week – I’m going out a limb.
The topic of mental health. It’s a big one. A delicate one. Yet a lot of us struggle with it.

After just having Men’s Mental Health week, and with a lot of the other awareness campaigns of the day, it’s talked about a lot more. And it’s great.

So I’ve put this small one together to speak a little about my journey with it, and how being in the bush has helped me manage it.

I hope any of you out there struggling with something can find some peace and be shown the help we all deserve and need to be able to carry on in life and live it to the fullest.

Below are some links and numbers to various lifelines for anyone that needs a good chat or some help.

Thanks for watching this one. See you on the next.

100% mate! I just sat in a flowing creek all day sinking tins with my dog. If I had done that at home watching TV all day by myself, I'd feel like a real loser. But instead, I feel like a huge winner.

Thank you for sharing, your honesty is both refreshing and inspiring. Men’s mental health is so often overlooked or belittled. Thanks for sharing.

Mate, what a fantastic vid! I know I've helped people by lending an ear or a shoulder. The bush definitely has a calming effect for me and clearly many other's. Awesome work on breaking down that stigma and having the courage to talk about how you feel 👌
