Good primer. More illustrations, or perhaps using an actual engine (truck) as a prop would have made this world class. Inasmuch as this is designed for absolute beginners, “over doing it” with illustrations and props is key. Nonetheless, this video has given me the confidence to design my own “Diesel for Dummies” curriculum. I’ll have a better idea of what books to buy, and what online (Udemy?) courses to invest in.

Thank you so much for this! I am a 50 year old woman that wants to go out on a Trawler with my husband for days and weeks on end, and I would like to be able to maintain and repair the diesel engine. I started teaching myself by reading books I purchased and now with your courses, it'll be much easier. I cannot believe it when you started talking about Moby Dick. I also just started reading Moby Dick a few weeks ago. It is divinely inspired and is parabolic to God's Good Word and not just the parts that are clearly referencing the Bible – but all of it! The crazy thing is that I JUST NOW reached the part in the book that is talking about the different types of whales and the part that mentions what Sperm Whales were used for. I'd say that is pretty miraculous! Praise God in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ for your lessons. Peace and Love to you and yours! Subscribed! and just a heads up for you – I clicked on the Amazon Affiliate link but just get "page not found" error. Maybe it's just a fluke for now – I will try again later. Oh, and I was curious if you work on marine diesel engines?

Would be cool to have diagrams or pictures as you talk. I can look it up as you talk, but just saying.
