Did Quad Lock destroy my iPhone? Well I think it did and here is the story of why I think it did and the conversations I had with Quad Lock over this issue.
Let me know your thoughts and experiences with Quad Lock, good and bad, because lets be honest its a great mount but they just need to fix the vibration issue and hopefully they have done that now with the dampener. Only time will tell, but I hope they do fix the issues because I actually think it’s a great idea and I loved it until the issues arose I am just wary about putting my phone on the bike again with the Quad Lock mount. We will see….
Please note this is no just an issue with Quad Lock, it has happened with some other mounts too.

That really sucks mate. Question is, why can’t Harley make a bike that doesn’t vibrate as much lol. Kidding aside, quad lock should take some responsibility.
My phone stays in my cut for sure.
I usually cut ties with any company that jerks me around. There are so many other options out there to be messing around with bad customer service
I think the best thing is to carry your phone in your shirt or jacket pocket and stop the bike if you need to use the map app. Use a blue tooth headset to make calls and get turn by turn directions. Sorry that happened to you.
Good info there. These larger companies forget it’s the people who have contributed towards their success. Reputation is everything and all it takes is one bad product to ruin it amongst a very large community of motorcyclists
As you know I wasn’t a fan to begin with because of the shaking. Moto Blonde just put one with the dampener on her bike, I’d wait and see what happens to hers! Cheers pal ✌🏼

Hit Quadlock up for 30% off. That was their discount during Black Friday sales or ask to exchange the iphone 10x case for an iphone 8 case. What is the worst thing they can do? The vibration damper works fine, but it does not seem as stable as what it is without it (naturally because the mounts are trying to soak up vibration). Just make sure the securing nut is tight on both the damper and the clip. Mine came loose, but not sure if I did not tighten it enough. I will do a follow up video on that in the future. Quadlock also have a list of bikes that need the damper unit, but I do not think it is comprehensive enough. Pretty much any big twin cylinder bike should probably have one.
Cool look at the product man…But I BT my phone to my helmet as when one is flying along at high speeds I don't want a phone flying off into my face.
Stevie here in the UK Ultimate Addons waterproof case and Ram mount been using it for a coupe of years with no problem. Will probably be a bit more expensive with you being in Canada.
