The DGR NYC 2019 video is now live … and you may notice more than a few familiar faces … co-ride leaders Mike Higgins and Allister Klingensmith, fundraising leader Vincent Nicolai, a bevy of Motofellas, newly departed NYCR founder Dominique Dutronc (now in France), Alejandra Piccione (United Riders of NYC), and the ever-present Steve Kamrad … to name but a few.
Camera used for the film:
Close to 800 motorcyclists participated in the ride which traversed the Brooklyn Bridge, parts of the BQE, the Ed Koch/59th Street Bridge, the FDR and West Side Highway, Columbus Circle past Central Park, and back to Seaport via the FDR.
DGR 2019 fundraising was officially a wrap Oct. 13 … with NYC ending the event with its usual flair, topping the globe with a cool 200K raised for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health resources. Last year’s winner, London, England, came in at $168K, followed by Sydney, Australia ($138K), Los Angeles, CA ($119K), and Melbourne, Australia ($92.3K).
Leading the NYC charge was Vincent Nicolai, who finished third globally with $34,649, behind San Jose’s Ron Krietemeyer ($51,521) and Hamilton, Ontario’s Joseph Mancinelli ($46,056). In the team competition, the New York Classic Riders finished second to the global corporate Triumph team ($178K) with $63,976, followed by LiUNA Team of San Jose ($51,386), Triumph Brooklyn ($51,169) and Four Cure (Hamilton, Ont) with $40,506.
The US was again the top fundraising country with $1.85 million of the total $5.8 million raised, followed by England, Australia and Canada.
Thanks to all who participated, riders, local sponsors, the NYPD Highway Patrol, our volunteers and organizers, and the city as a whole for making NYC No. 1.

Quality ride – such a good cause!
Thanks Johnny 👍
Worthy cause but, reading about coming off in jeans and grinding through knee tendon, yum! Quite what you'd look like in an office shirt or bare arms like that lady? Riding like this is as cool as smoking!
Good work!
Does anyone have video they can send me of the NYC 2019 ride. If you do please message me. Thanks great work had a blast raising money for such a great cause.
This from NYC could be one of the most fashioned, elegant and amazing video between all those DGRs 2019 (I watched dozens). Beautiful, I am still smiling … I am sure it actually represents the DGR philosophy
Ooops, too short perhaps but Congrats!
I love the styles and bikers
Watch this , it was on Mexico City https://youtu.be/hJQdglujG5A
