Today I’m talking about depression and throttle therapy/motorcycles. This is just me rambling. I’m no expert when it comes to mental health. Please consult a professional/reach out if you find yourself in need.

I have 'major depressive disorder' I've had it the majority of my life, I'm now 44. The amount of meds I take is ridiculous, but they seem to keep me somewhat stable. The only thing that puts a smile on my face, is going out riding!

Lots of good points sir. I want to add something I heard awhile back. Pick something that you suck at. Do it and improve and get better at it. The feeling of accomplishment is tried and true. Also do something nice for someone with no expectation of wanting anything from them in return.

Good job man!! Nice wheelies πŸ‘πŸ½. Depression is a silent killer, unless you say it..no one will know. The best thing is to talk to people you love and start doing things that you haven't done..travel..ride bikes…go places. Riding motorcycles helped me alot, when i ride my bike with my helmet on…im in my own world and i forget most of the issues i have, the stress etc. Currently i have an iron 883..i love modifying it…and it has been my daily commute to work. To be frank my love towards motorcycles kept me going forward and not losing hope. I hope I'll have two more motorcycles in my garage in the near futureπŸ˜….

I feel like a lot of people dont know that depression is actually a mental illness where as some people can be depressed or sad sometimes but the term depression defines having the illness. Such a good video topic that more people should talk about. As always with someone having dealt with depression for years the best thing to do is to get help from friends and family and if not a phone call or therapy helps a lot. Keep safe ✌❀

I get my ups and downs like most but riding definitely helps and absolutely it is therapy for sure.. great topic Jon because most people don’t talk about it especially men for fear of looking weak but thankfully it’s becoming more mainstream I think… be safe βœŒπŸ»πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

2:44 … don't forget to mention your regular YouTube fans & subscribers to the police officer as well Jon. I watch your clips because it makes my day complete and makes me feel good like the kid on the street who watches you wheelie past. Tell the cop to be nice while your vlogging and he might feel good too πŸ™‚
