Today I’m talking about depression and throttle therapy/motorcycles. This is just me rambling. I’m no expert when it comes to mental health. Please consult a professional/reach out if you find yourself in need.

Love the supermoto content !keep it man 🤜🏻
It's wild to hear and watch this episode. Maybe a sign. I lost a friend who shot and killed himself on April 1st… I wish we could go for a motorcycle ride!
I enjoy your videos. Shiny side up.

It helps me, no one understands!!!!!!!
The Dave Mirra comment hit me hard because he is from my hometown. I remember when he died. His wife brought his computer to my job. She was trying so hard to not cry when she said she needs his pictures off of it. We were successful in doing so. I will always remember that and smile knowing that my brother and I were able to offer help (even though we were paid) during one of the lowest points of her life.
Love to throw a leg over my HD and helps but I found today watching this I need to find a less depressing job I'm a mechanic and wow I'm under paid as AF for what my shop charges time to move on or find a better way to deal with depression and debt
I am a retired veteran with depression and ptsd. Riding has always been the best thing for me! When I am on the bike, I love the "freedom" it gives me to observe nature, clear my mind, and process thoughts! I am a sucker for speed, so hitting the throttle is a great release for me as well! Good video my man and it's cool to know that you are putting out an awareness for this! #onedayatatime!
Linkin park is my therapy
Great advice Jon, riding certainly makes me feel good and does a good job at putting the mind at ease after a hectic day or week. I remember to this day something that a teacher said in class one day after one of my classmates took their own life. I literally remember the time and place and the words coming out of his mouth. It was at the end of Phy Ed class in 9th grade and we were lined up waiting to be released from the locker room and he made light of the recent happening and said…."You know guys…suicide is really a permanent solution to a temporary problem, and if you ever feel like you need help, don't be afraid or too proud to reach out and ask for help". It's been almost 34 years and I still remember him saying that. It certainly affected me and I have passed those words onto young people and others that I have had conversations with about the very subject as well. Hopefully it has helped others, because as I said they were certainly very powerful words to me.
