Hello guys, welcome back to Car Obsession, and welcome to episode 3 of ‘Vlogdown’. This episode is a bit of a heavy one as I discuss what it’s been like doing YouTube whilst battling mental health issues. If you are a fellow creator and you have a similar struggle, please do get in touch if you want to chat; you can do so at admin@carobsession.co.uk.

The same goes if you’re not a YouTuber but you’d like to touch base to chat more about this, I’m not a professional of course, but it’s always good to talk.

No hateful or negative replies from me mate, the way you do your video and the way you put yourself across shows your a likeable guy and if I saw you in a pub I'd buy you a drink and enjoy good conversation all night long, stay strong bud for your fans

Very admirable video man. I relate a lot with you re the anxiety, medication, therapy etc etc. Brave of you speaking out as I'm not public about me. I also think the motor industry and I'm assuming motor journalism with that is somewhat still a little bit like an old school/ testosterone filled/male dominated secondary school….all about who is the toughest/ who looks the flashiest and who can dish out the most dirt. Your content is really good for someone who does this as a hobbie, you are somewhat your own worst enemy cuz you are so passionate about what you do and enjoy reacting and engaging with viewers (I always noticed how quick you respond anytime I comment), its probably why you take nastiness to heart. If you were a commercial entity like say auto trader or some other large company, you wouldn't be as emotionally attached to it all. I totally understand why you naturally are so emotionally attached as it is a huge body of work and you do it all very well. If having a bad day, just go walk into a car dealership ie Audi or BMW say, turn walk back out and its like a miracle for mental health (for me anyways)
