The question “can riding a motorcycle really help your mental health?” gets asked often, and the response from riders is always a very positive, yes. But is there any actual science behind it? As riders, we can attest to how riding helps you spend time in your own mind whilst concentrating on the task at hand. So for this video, I decided to dig into it a little deeper, talk about some of my experiences and also introduce a very worthwhile campaign.

I have felt this to be true for myself this is the first time that I have seen anyone else talk about it. We need to all remember to treat each other with respect. I have experienced some smart ass and bellying behavior on rides. We all need to realize we do not know what some one else is going through and to act accordingly.

Answer, yes. A two cylinder machine would be the best with bottom end torque. It imitates your heart rhythm. A tree lined road with sunlight breaking through. Temperature around 74deg F.
Thank you, great video and such an important subject. Riding my bike with or without friends always makes me feel happy. We all have bad days with a lot of pressure from work etc. and riding the bike is similar to therapy. I know because I see a therapist on a weekly basis. Thanks and greetings from Sweden !
I’ve known that since I was 9. I’m 60 now and believe that’s why people that don’t ride are so neurotic!
