#mentalhealthawareness #itsoktofeelshit
The question “can riding a motorcycle really help your mental health?” gets asked often, and the response from riders is always a very positive, yes. But is there any actual science behind it? As riders, we can attest to how riding helps you spend time in your own mind whilst concentrating on the task at hand. So for this video, I decided to dig into it a little deeper, talk about some of my experiences and also introduce a very worthwhile campaign.

I know its cliche but yes it does👍
Riding is the best therapy there is. Sometimes I ride with clients and have coachingsessions in between. My next video I will start with the line about motorcycles and psychiatrists:)
LOVE THIS VIDEO AND GONNA SHARE, THANKS
you are a very honest person. have been into bikes for 55 years, and you are spot on . it definitely helps.
Well done Tony I know just what your saying. Riding is a great tonic for feeling better.👍
Well done for being so honest and for giving practical advice. Ride safe!
Bravo! Tony, Thank you for having the courage to air this out. Depression affects so many people who, if they seek therapy, can feel so much better. Therapy can take many forms, from talking and meds to motorcycling. The important thing is to address it in a way that works for YOU.#smashthestigma. PS. I just rode in an early DGR- my third. Great causes both!
I just had an accident and spent 5 days in the hospital. A few doctors and nurses asked me what was I going to do when I got better. I told them: buy a new helmet, buy a new jacket, and then get a new bike. They then asked me: “you’re going to keep riding after THIS”? I told them that for me, the choice was possible injury, or certain Insanity.
The 4 miserable pricks who disliked this can just go f&*% themselves. This is a great video, and I support it 100%! Man Cave guy; I've been there, done that, believe me….if you ever want to chat, just get in touch. Simple as that. 🙂
As long as you don't zone out because that makes it dangerous.
