Does anything symbolize the promise of the future like flying cars? From Star Wars to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, from The Jetsons to James Bond, flying cars have captured our imagination, but failed to translate into any sort of reality. Will flying cars ever be safe and practical enough to happen? How would they work? Flying cars always seem right around the corner, but can advancements in battery tech and autopilot modes actually get us there? That’s today… or tomorrow… or maybe never… on Past Gas.

  2. Ivan Vrdoljak

This podcast without be even better if there was less reading off of a script and more natural conversation.

  3. Ratatacoon

imagine the typical break checker no turn signal douche airborn and then tell me you want flying cars

  4. Coleman Zapien

Wars are a very good reason you have the technology you have now be thankful you don’t have to fight then and be thankful for those who did

  5. Eddie Hardt

I don't blame you guys for not wanting someone named Eddie to fly. We have a tendency to…..ummmm…do things….

  6. Brendan Edwards

you guys are crushing it, im doing some cad work while listening to it, and Joe i did tell my pilot friend about it, he said hell check it out!

  7. Ray Gilbert Flys

No, no, no. The majority of the mindless masses out there on the ground can't handle operating a vehicle in 2 axis, add a third and it will be flaming, twisted metal raining from the skys day and night.

  8. Hide and Tweak

flying cars is a dumb idea since planes, helicopters and large drones already exist. What would be really nice is a multi-layered rail system, but it would only make sense in super mega cities with like 500 000 000 people with only giant skyscrapers.

  9. Maquel Pagulayan

I firmly believe that we should first build our structures up above then from that point on flying cars would be a necessity. We built roads before cars 🤷‍♂️

  10. Huw Griffin

Has James mic ever been plugged in?
