This was so good Buck, much of what you covered is what I have felt , been through, still going through, not as a police officer, prison officer but just a bloke who in the end sought help via a psychiatrist after things just got to much, depression from work, suffering pain (arthritis) going to work full of Panadol just to get through a shift, anger from it all, not good. I'm doing what your doing and retiring in August I've had enough of the crap and want to enjoy what life I have left on this planet. Three cheers Buck you deserve it because I know how it feels.

There will be ups and downs, and good days and bad, but you do see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I have found that the longer you are with being aware of where you are at, the better things do become.

Great video. I need to go see someone too. Been saying it to my wife for months. I'm angry all the time now and have a short fuse. My wife ane kids bare the brunt of it when I snap. Some hard times over the last few years started it ( wife's mental health has been a real issue amongst other things) and I need to finish it. Yes.,…I've hard dark thoughts and that makes me sick . I think half my problem is I have no mates living here to chat to in person. Thanks buck 👍 and best of luck on the new chapter…
Hi Buck, mate I ran into you on Saturday morning outside the shops at Willows while I was with my family. I hadn't seen this video so wasn't aware you were dealing with a lot at the time mate. Sorry to hear about everything going on in your life mate. We all deal with mental challenges in our lives and I believe its our mates that help us through them. I've worked FIFO for 15 years and I've also experienced a few people takes their lives due to not feeling like they can deal with life anymore. I've since done my mental health first aid so I can try and help people wherever I can. Was good to see you mate and I hope next time its on better circumstances. Justin.
