I would love if you did a video on situational experience. This would be incredibly helpful!!
Hey DanDan, glad I got the opportunity to see this video the day it was posted!
I'd love to see a situational awareness video, to be honest.
Big fan! Would LOVE a situational awareness video as my significant other has just started riding. I think the video would be beneficial to new and experienced riders who may have become complacent. riders alike
Situational awareness video would be awesome!
Love what you’re doing for us in the community, been following for a long time.
Don’t know how to reach you to suggest an important topic to make a video about since it just happened to me.
Could you make a video on what to do when you’re in traffic, and you set up for a turn and everything is good but you know you’re not going to make the turn without going right into that car on the outer lane. This was the unfortunate accident I was just in over the weekend.
All happened so fast but looking through the turn i immediately knew i wasn’t going to make it, was too late to stand the bike up and emergency stop.
I thought I had trained pretty well for this but ended up having the bike go down and drag me with it fracturing my shoulder and almost crushing my leg.
Gear saved me there. I felt like my situation in the fast moment was either crash or crash .
I don’t want other riders to come to this situation and want people to prepare for these kinda of freak situations where you have to react super fast with zero reaction time.
Thanks so much for sharing and helping everyone dan, seriously, i never stop learning and practicing thanks to your advice!
Much love from NY
Any chance we can get a vid on how to ride in a new motorcycle? <3
I still don’t have a motorcycle due to financial reasons but these videos help with what I can expect. Most likely will practice techniques before I go longer and more traffic distances
Great vid! Thanks! A lot of these looked avoidable with some defensive riding, and skill. One should never get hit by an open car door. Even the guy who ran over the roll of insulation, or whatever it was, had room to maneuver, and accelerate. I've done it on my FJ-09 a few times. Had a wood pallet drop in front of me. The FJ's triple 850 saved the day. Use the agility, and power, at your disposal, to get out of trouble. As for SnowKitten, dude had plenty of room to either move over, possibly brake, or better yet, accelerate past that car. Doesn't he ride a Super Duke 1290? Heh, heh
I wouldn't mind seeing a video on rev matching while downshifting 🙂 Cheers from Canada o/
I watched Motojitsus video where he was going through some twisties and saying outloud what he was thinking and doing, it was quite informative.
