I’ve had my shoe laces get stuck on the shifter lever. Just remain calm and move you foot around slowly until it comes off. Happened multiple times to me.
Can you please do a video where we can see which brake you apply and when? Maybe a graphic as you apply each one? That still confuses me sometimes around curves or in oh shit moments at slow and fast speeds.
Just got my bike license last week, should hopefully be picking up a bike today. Thanks for all the tips.
Good video! Idk if you have mentioned in a video or not, but does your girl not ride anymore? Seems like your always riding her bike now
Good info Dan. I avoid riding too close to semis you never know when those revulcanized tires can come out as projectiles towards you, you can see the debris on the highways. One time I was able to evade some chunks just as they were coming off, there was a sound that preceded the blow up, very scary moment. Those things can be deadly. Being aware at all times is a must when riding. Good topic.
I’m picking up my rebel 500 this Saturday if everything goes as planed, thanks for the vids💯
Riding around with one hand on the handlebar is riskier than a key fob in your front pocket.
Very helpful everyone should worry more about being a safe rider than a cool rider
Never thought of this Dan. They didn’t mention items in the pockets in the MSI course. Good suggestion!
I drive a semi and I see it all the time: People just hanging out next to me! The best thing to do whether on a bike or in a car: Make your pass as quickly as possible. If I lose a tire and you’re there…It could mean your life.
Dan, I’m a new rider and have learned a lot from you: Thanks!
