i think loose the body work completely and go kinda dune bugy sand rail type frame batterys i would swap out to nissan leaf should help with speed as they will be no battery sag looking at the rear axle i wounder if you could take all the motor unit off mount a motor facing the rear and take the diff gear and have that on end of the motor
