We weren’t sure on publishing this for obvious reasons but, ultimately, Boothy wanted to. This is the first part of his 2022 Isle of Man TT story…

Massive respect for Boothy and all riders. Took my ZX10R over this year and its just the most amazing place. The mountain section was bonkers and I only hit 130ish. There were guys passing me a good 30-40mph quicker than me.
Every one of you lads are true heroes.
    Get well soon lad 🤞🤞🤞

No lower leg? No problem, shifting? No problem.
But now you're about 15+/- lighter!!

I got back on a bike (not my bike) a month out of ICU, nothing will stop you Boothy!!

Did u wear an airbag vest – as u didn’t have any chest injuries it’s a shame they haven’t developed airbag for lower limbs I am sure that would reduce leg injuries
