Buying a HD sportster for my first bike was one of my worst decisions. I knew as soon as I rode an FZ-07 that I had made a huge mistake both financially and mechanically. I have several motorcycles now and the sportster sits.
You sound so surprised I might even say shocked, when you first rode off. Like a man who’s just discovered what the rest of the biking world outside the USA, already knew for decades: the world of Not-Harley (not intended as a criticism) 👍👍👍
Ps, get some decent road tyres on it and you’ll be surprised all over again 👍
I did the demo in fort worth tx. The FTR gave me a slight whiplash and really wow'ed me. Heading to Denton tx in dec to demo it again. Would love you to do another review after you have had a few months with yours.

Ahhh, Daniel san …. Good to see you Smile again. It's been along time since I've seen you happy on /and about / a bike. So how are you liking the bike?? I take it you upgraded Nikki too, so she can keep up with you on the freeway…. ???, ( Rode for 8 hours today on my Bolt, Had my Sis along for two of them , taught her how to Tandem-Ride .She rides a Virago. She Aced it even the traffic corner turns … even in front of the police .So I'm impressed. She Aced the whole routine …. Lane positions 1 & 3 ) Thinking maybe you and a couple of your Bud's can do a do's and don'ts about this for the rest of the followers in here???/ ( when to break rank and single-file around the twisty's , etc ,etc )

Dont have a bike (yet… thanks to covid furloughing me) but got my CBT certificate last weekend! (UK requirement for riding on the road with learner L-plates)
In the meantime I am living vicariously through your videos and learning at the same time.
