This week I investigate the slightly stodgy handling on my Ferrari 308, replace the fusebox with an upgraded item and fix the oil cooler leak!

You can find the upgraded fuseboxes from Classicretrofit on the link below:

That's the same handbrake system Pininfarina put in the 124 Fiat series. Total rubbish. Only useful for passing the handbrake required regulations.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this channel. I find you working on the Influenzo to be so interesting even though I will never need the knowledge I'm gaining from you. Thanks 👋🏻

Just a quick heads up on the handbrake. I watched in horror as my old A6 Avant rolled off across the car park (@ Box Hill). Fortunately it missed several other vehicles and hit a bin! Everyone was calling me prat for not putting the handbrake on. I had put the h/brake on. Someone then told me that he had the same problem. Handbrake operates via caliper clamping pads onto discs. Apparently the as the discs cool they shrink a small amount reducing the amount of grip from the h/brake!
Audi told me to ALWAYS leave the car in gear… (It was a manual G/box)
    Not a great design.

why risk ANY unfiltered air entering the engine. The increase in wear through gritty particles is an expensive gamble for some induction noise…Just my thoughts!

Haha oh dear, is there anything much more annoying than trying to sort an iffy handbrake!

I have Bilstein shocks and H&R springs on my XK8 coupe and the result is WONDERFUL: lowered, smooth, firm and a delight to drive

My 308GTSi handbrake never worked, its the design thats terrible, better concentrating on the handling, if it was mine I would change all the bushing as well.
