I remember working for TQL and watched how some of these account managers treat the drivers I was really disgusted. The disrespect towards the drivers was unreal. I hated that job and never againπ πΏββοΈ
Not getting paid the actual mileage from shipper to receiver. Companies like those fantasy miles
U said it all my guy those are the same reasons I want to quit
Trucking has gone downhill since we let them run the unions and owner operators out of trucking. There was no micro managing. There were no being made to run unsafe equipment. Bottom line drivers had a voice now they are just at the mercy of whatever the large companies and the government.
As, a trucker I can understand but I think the most important, thing is to actually listen, to the driver. If we could get more companies to listen we would be much better off.
Low pay, junk equipment, constant harassment from Dot
All great reasons. Another one is when dispatchers show preferential treatment to their "sacred cows." I left after nearly four years, which I did NOT want to do. When you add up all these reasons PLUS the resultant multiple levels of additional liability the job just doesn't pencil out.
How about health? Ur back? Sitting on your ass in a cocoon all day
Micro manage
I hate the inward cameras watching you and listening to conversations.
