head shake is caused by over riding the capabilities of the motor cycles chassis .a steering dampener can fix this or just slow down and not push your bike so hard
I don't usually comment or chime in… however. topic death wobble: most common reason a bike will do this is from rider gripping the bars to tightly! the motorcycle makes small corrections keeping it's self in a straight line & having a death grip on the bars can prohibit the correct path of this gyroscope (front wheel) that we are using to controll steering, causing the wobble. Where I'm from there's no classes available at all, so my only option is by myself (cuz I got no one to teach me) at a parking lot. No wonder so many die on motorcycles around here, a lot of people don't even wear helmets and you see them with shirts all the time, rarely do I see someone with proper gear, I probably look weird to them wearing full gear.

Hey dan dan. Been watching your videos since the first "how to" in the parking lot with your 883. I researched and watched other videos like yours for almost 2 years before I bought my 2014 883, just last week! Mine has higher z bars than your original but none the less… your videos helped! I have no endorsement (Florida) but I always wear gear and grew up on dirt bikes and 4 wheelers, tractors and pretty much everything else minus dump trucks and semis. I rode into town the first time today and it was smooth as silk. I think the msf is for people who have only driven vehicles their whole life. Or dont understand a manual transmission. I also have a 93 jeep wrangler 5 speed. I say all of that to say this… it mostly seems like commonsense shit. -Dont be in such a hurry
-Assume cars dont see you
-Keep it in first at a light
-Pump brakes so cars behind you notice your brake lights better.
But you cant tell me that an msf course shows you how to avoid a latter in the road…(personal experience in the last 2 weeks, plus people turning on your road but not turning afterall (1st day I left the house) just assume everyone is an idot, like they are in a tourist florida town like mine. I think there should be a test you can take before you need an msf.
