The butt lifting technique deserves a better description.
1. You should always place you butt on the seat in a position of balance meaning you will not fall forward or backward when stand up, no weight should be on the bars.
2. It's not necessary to lift the butt that high in most cases.
3. It is very important to hold the tank tightly with your legs while going over the bump
I took a rider's course through the local Harley Davidson dealership. I enjoyed it, I learned a lot and I'm really glad I went.
I am new to riding only about 200 miles around my back roads on my cbr250r but I am noticing I tend to stay on the rear brake on turn in after slowing down to make the turn then come off brake/clutch and back onto the throttle. Sound right? Feels correct as it doesn't wana upright me like the front brake and gives me confidence that im not going to fast as I learn. Fyi never ridden/driven a manual anything bought the bike as my first bike. Have had no problem learning to shift/downshift just cant get real instruction as they are not doing msf courses with covid and none of my buds ride. Got all the gear I need. Bikes in great shape.
Great tips, However after the 4th tip I heard “go take a MSF course” so much already I got annoyed and stopped watching. Stop saying over and over how important it is to take an MSF course. Say it 1-2 times and we get it. Not 4-5 per tip, that’s obnoxious.
Amazing content however in real life you won’t be executing these maneuvers under 70 or 80 km/h
Great videos Dan Dan love the content
I wrote the text used in this video… for another company.
Hupy and Abraham's powersports department would be proud 😂😂😂
Why not practice it in an empty parking lot with full gear. What's the point of watching the video if I have to sign up for a course to practice the techniques? Is it just marketing?
Could have gone harder on the brakes towards the end while your emergency braking here.
Here are some tips I wish I knew as a beginner rider. Make sure you watch this! https://youtu.be/YNV-wQLgJBI
