After the winter I really have to pay attention to cornering and the speed I enter turns in (and looking through turns) when I start riding again.

    Motorcycle skills are perishable.

It is winter still in Finland and I am SO anxious to get back on the bike again. Last summer was my first season on the bike and I am hooked on the feeling. Like you said Dan riding clears your mind from all the chatter that goes on in ones life.. That is one of the reasons I like to ride.

Thank you for your candid talk on your videos and hello to NIkki!

This channel just got a lot prettier 😛

you're the talent Nikki, Dan is production 😂

Scooters are great, it's just they don't seem to make scooters past 650cc. There is one, but it is a giant Titanic of a bike…women(and smaller riders) would not be comfortable be on it.

  7. Cruising Primate

Watching old Dan/Nikki vid to laugh at the bantering, always entertaining.

Hey Nikki! I am in the same area as you are, Sahuarita. I saw the video of you going up Mt. Lemmon. How was it coming down the mountain? I've taken the BRC 1 & 2 with Ride Arizona. I plan on taking more classes. I've had my license for about a year now. Hubby and I go riding together. I would love to do Mt. Lemmon. Just curious how you felt coming down the mountain.

I'll do training rides like I do running circuit training. I begon with a nice easy relaxing warm up ride, working in a little easy swerving. Then I'll take short rides from parking lot to parking lot and at each parking lot I will do drills. When I really feel warmed up I will hit my favorite twisty road, just using the same degree of skill that I practiced, what the exception that I have to watch out for road conditions and other vehicles. Often at the end I will have a straight shot coming home with a little bit of speed.

I think if she can create her own parking lot training courses in her own mind that will vest her into the program better. Engage & develop your imagination.
