I'm 31, sort of have high income. own a bmw 428i turbo in 2015, got bored witih it still keeping it though and
Recently gone back to single again. So bought my first bike xsr700 just for fun, but I catch train to work. Love it I see more, sense more and smell more to be emmersed with the environment.

I got mine three years ago at 37, Yes, second vehicle a 2016 Kawasaki Vulcan S. Mine was what I consider a mid-life crisis type reason. Like many I had the "they are dangerous, you're gonna die" stuff preached to me. I started to know too many who were dying of cancer, auto accidents, suicide, etc that I started to realize life to short. My parents are in their 70's and seeing their bodies failing made me think, I rather try it and not like it then get to my parents age and wish I would have but now with joint and muscle issues I wouldn't be able to. I knew plenty who rode but most were the weekend warrior type. The other part is while I only have a 15 minutes one way commute it still gets monotonous so while in a real daily grind rut thought that it would make it much more fun, which it has. Part of me wishes I would have did it sooner, on the other hand I'm not sure I would have been mentally mature enough for it.

I presently riding a Indian Scout motorcycle. I am 60 years old, and a cheaper, smaller bike is what I can afford at this time. The jeep is the family car, and the motorcycle is the "Me" Time toy.

I am solidly in the Harley Davidson target demographic, and it is H-D that is killing H-D.
$30k bikes that have 100cid engines that can't make 70hp without another $2k in upgrades. No thanks
