This clearance is about the same as an underground carpark, making it challenging for some larger SUV wagons or dual-cab utes to fit, let alone any vans, trucks or trailers. It’s low enough that a person walking can reach up and touch the top (if they don’t simply bump their head), and was so low that the Google Street View mapping car couldn’t fit underneath!

The bridge carries the local railway line, and while there is a level crossing a few hundred meters away, the roadway under the bridge still allows some traffic to pass. There are significant warning signs on both sides of the ‘Duck Bridge’ to help prevent any collisions, and judging by the state of the barriers, there have been a few close calls!
