Volkswagen launched the Golf R for the first time back in 2022 during the fifth generation Golf. To mark the model’s 20th anniversary, Volkswagen announced the Golf R “20 Years” Edition. Next to a few impressive technical upgrades, the new model benefits from an extra 13 horsepower under the hood. This upgrade helps it to improve its lap time on the legendary Nürburgring by 4 seconds, making it the fastest R model around the Ring.
