The Volkswagen Atlas debuted in the United States in the spring of 2017 for the 2018 model year. Since then, the mighty Atlas received a facelift in 2020 for the 2021 model year. We have also seen a Atlas Cross Sport variant that is smaller in size and trimmed to appear more athletic. Volkswagen has sold almost 400,000 units of the Atlas since 2017, making it a popular choice in the mid-size three-row SUV space.
Those are some impressive sales figures in a little over five years. I have previously had the chance to review the Atlas and I wasn’t impressed with it. Having the keys once again, I wanted to find out if the Atlas can prove itself to be a desirable SUV for the family, or does it still sit low in my book? Let’s find out
