2018 Nissan Kicks

Cars.com photo by Brian Wong

Our review of the 2018 Nissan Kicks remains one of the most popular reviews on Cars.com for another week, appearing in fourth place behind stalwarts like the 2019 Toyota RAV4, 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe and 2019 Ram 1500. The review may be outdated from a model-year perspective — you can buy a 2019 Nissan Kicks now — but it’s still applicable, as little has changed for the Kicks besides a slight increase in price.

Cars.com reviewer Brian Wong praised the 2018 Kicks for its practicality, versatility and value despite the fact that it comes only in front-wheel drive.

“If you don’t need four driven wheels, the Kicks is an outstanding entrant in this class,” Wong wrote. “It offers a combination of value and interior space I haven’t found in other models along with superior fuel efficiency. The Kicks might not be quite as fun or quirky as the Juke was, but it is the superior vehicle — and worth much consideration for utility shoppers.”

Our comparison of the 2019 Ford Ranger and 2018 Toyota Tacoma remains the most popular video for another week, and it’s joined by one holdover from last week’s list: our First Drive of the 2019 Honda Passport. New to this week’s ranking are three First Look videos from the 2019 Chicago Auto Show: the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado heavy duties, 2020 Toyota Tacoma and 2020 Toyota Tundra.
