29 July 2016: Ford Falcon Ute production ends

The final Ford Falcon Ute is a white XR6, and it rolled off the Broadmeadows production line just before 3pm. The vehicle will be retained by Ford Australia.The denouement to the story of Ford’s Australian manufacturing in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, and engine-making in Geelong, occurs on October 7 with the end of the Falcon sedan and Territory crossover SUV.

Grand total over the life-cycle? 467,690 units

29 July 2015: Ferrari 488 Spider revealed

The Spider’s retractable hardtop folds away or rises into position in 14 seconds. For alfresco motoring, the hardtop sits in two overlapping sections over the top of the engine. According to Ferrari, the Spider has the same torsional rigidity and beam stiffness as the GTB coupe.
