The YouTube channel NASS has been uploading colored videos, from days past for a while and they are pure gold. This particular one is filmed from a Cable car and gives us a high-riding view of the busy San Francisco streets. Many people would recognize old buildings, as well as cars they used to own. And there are plenty of those here.

The YouTube channel NASS has been uploading colored videos, from days past for a while and they are pure gold. This particular one is filmed from a Cable car and gives us a high-riding view of the busy San Francisco streets. The sheer number and variety of vehicles is reason enough for us to share this with you.

As the Cable car goes along its designated route we scout many classic vehicles, many of which are desirable classics in our time. The view of Ford Country Squires, Series 62 Cadillacs, and Plymouth Valiants roaming through the sloping streets of San Francisco is almost as mesmerizing as viewing the city from the Golden Gate viewpoint at dusk.

The footage has been enhanced with 60fps, stabilized, and remastered, with added sound to complete the city ambiance. Comfortable cruisers, like the Ford Thunderbird, Cadillac Coupe DeVille, and Chevy Impala are casually switching lanes through the city streets. The plethora of American vehicles, among which a C1 Corvette, is being diversified, on occasions, by European vehicles, like the VW Bug, Jaguar E-Type, and even an Austin Healey.

We even spotted a Chevrolet Corvair on two occasions and towards the end of the video, we even noticed a bright red Amphycar Model 770, following a Cable car with a vintage Tuborg logo on its side and people occupying both the inner and outer sections. In addition to preserving the image of a 1960s San Francisco, we think the video is excellent for classic car spotting. Maybe you can spot your own car in the video. Tel us below.
