While all generations of the Porsche 911 are great in their own right, the 996’s bold approach and deviation from tradition raised more than a few eyebrows back in 1997. The first water-cooled 911 ditched the distinctive round headlights for a more contemporary design and some of the earlier variants left something to be desired in terms of the build quality and materials. However, like all 911s, the 996 is now an appreciating car, and this neat example of the 996 Turbo, listed at Collecting Cars, has a very desirable option.
