It has been over 50 years since the end of the AC Cobra’s production run, and the icon that the Cobra is has more than obviously lived on. The name “Cobra” made its appearance until the end of the 2004 model year with the Mustang Cobra, and its spiritual successor – the Dodge Viper – has become nearly as much of a cult icon as the original. With fewer and fewer brands creating small high-performance sports cars, now would be a perfect time for the return of an American legend to bring a final V-8 sports car into the world.
