For a car to be on sale with the purpose of use on everyday roads, it has to be homologated, especially if it is initially designed for motorsport or track-only use. Us car enthusiasts typically adore homologation cars as they are essentially the race cars we see belting around a track or through the woods with an interior and a license plate. Truly a dream come true. Sadly though, not every track-only or race car ends up in dealerships.
