Werks Reunion is one of the biggest events sanctioned by the Porsche Club of America. The Werks Reunion at Monterey that took place on August 19th saw plenty of unique Porsche cars, but the People’s Choice Award was taken by a tastefully-modified, 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa Safari. Despite the mouthful of a name, the car is truly a one-off example. Galpin Motors representative, Josh Rivera, contacted TopSpeed and was more than happy to share the details of this unique example of an air-cooled 911.
