In October 2020, Mercedes-Benz took the brand-new AMG GT Black Series onto the Nurburgring to set a new lap record for production cars. In November, the Germans confirmed the record at 6:43.616 by releasing a video of the run. Almost two months have passed since then and the German firm is giving us a “behind the scenes” look at the record run and how the AMG GT Black Series was prepared for its impressively fast lap.
