And you thought your registration was expensive! The two-digit plate is on track to break a sales record with four days still left to bid

The number-14 Victorian Heritage number plate is set to break a two-digit sales record, with the top bid already at $1.7 million.

Bidding is open now and runs until 6pm on May-24 2022.

The previous record held for one of the 90 two-digit plates in circulation was $1.1m for number 26 in March 2020.

The 14 plate has received two bids at the Shannons Autumn Auction and at time of writing is sitting at $1,700,500.

While the plate is currently not in use, photos from 2014 show the ’14’ enamel plate on a burgundy Bentley Arnage saloon.
