The McLaren GT is an upcoming grand tourer from the British company. Although it doesn’t have an official name yet, the GT was confirmed at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, when McLaren also released photos of a camouflaged car. The supercar will break cover on May 15.
McLaren says that this vehicle will be “the most usable mid-engined car yet.” It promises enhanced passenger and luggage room and a smoother ride, but with no compromise to performance. The Brits even go as far as to say that the GT will be only McLaren to share DNA with Speedtail. However, it won’t have a hybrid drivetrain, but only a V-8 powerplant.
