Kia’s largest electric vehicle yet will be unveiled in concept guise this Thursday, with seven seats and nearly 500km of range expected.
Kia has teased a concept version of its second dedicated all-electric vehicle, slated for a global unveiling this Thursday: the Kia Concept EV9.
Teased with a single silhouette image, the new EV9 concept car will preview the second Kia model to ride on the Hyundai group’s dedicated E-GMP battery platform, a large seven-seat SUV sized similarly to the Hyundai Palisade and not-for-Australia Kia Telluride.
Details of the EV9 are thin on the ground, though the teaser image suggests it will resemble the large SUV-like electric vehicle teased in dim lighting earlier this year, as one of four dedicated Kia electric SUVs based on the E-GMP platform due by 2027.
