With cars like the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe and the launch of new hybrid Keeps in Europe, it’s easy to think that Jeep and its parent company Stellantis could be steering deep into electrification. This is especially true when you consider Jeep’s first electric vehicle that’s expected to arrive early next year. All of this is certainly accurate, but Jeep and parent company Stellantis is still sinking money into research and development of new combustion engines. The latest of which is, apparently, a brand-new inline-six that will be showcased first by Jeep before it trickles over to other sister brands.
