By now we know that almost every manufacturer is heading in the direction of electrification. More and more internal combustion engine cars feature mild or plug-in hybrid technology in order to reduce the negative impact on the environment and cover the latest strictest emissions regulations. Porsche – a manufacturer set on tradition, at least when it comes to their 911 model – has also started down that road. They even introduced a fully-electric car – the Taycan. Moreover, the Panamera and 911 Turbo S now feature mild-hybrid technology. There is one Porsche, however, that stays true to its roots – the GT3 – and the YouTube channel MotorHeads does a good job of introducing you to the ins and outs of it.
