Hennessey made itself known as the company that does ridiculous tunes on everything from the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 to building the obscene 2019 Chevy Silverado Goliath 6×6 which was followed by the 2013 Venom GT Spyder, the 2014 Venom GT2, and finally an updated version of the Venom GT in 2016. All versions of the Venom GT were based on the Lotus Elise but it’s latest car, which was originally showed in 2015 – the Venom F5 – was a lot less Lotus and a lot more Hennessey. The production model of the Venom F5 was finally revealed in late 2020, and as it turns out, it represents the glass ceiling for bespoke Hennessey cars.
