The iconic Toyota Supra returned in 2019 after a 17-year-long absence. The new Supra was received with a lot of enthusiasm, but some criticized Toyota’s decision to go with a BMW engine instead of a Japanese-made one. Supra fans inevitably began to compare the fourth- and fifth-generation cars, but we’ve never seen a proper head-to-head review of the two.
