Sport-themed variant of upcoming SUV announced via social media.
Ford Australia has confirmed the upcoming Endura SUV will offer an ST-Line variant in Australia, with the range scheduled to land Down Under during the fourth quarter of this year.
Announced via the local division’s Facebook page, the ST-Line isn’t to be mistaken for the Edge ST offered in North America, which features a high-output 2.7-litre twin-turbo V6. Instead, the local ST-Line will almost certainly be powered by a turbo-diesel engine in keeping with the wider range.
While it forgoes the more powerful engine, our ST-Line should get a host of sporty appointments – if the UK-market version serves as a guide, anyway.

Other highlights include sports suspension, adaptive steering, steering-mounted paddle shifters, along with a host of available driver assistance technologies including post-collision braking, evasive steering assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, and lane-keeping assist.
Power will likely come from the new 175kW 2.0-litre ‘EcoBlue’ bi-turbo four-cylinder turbo-diesel offered in Europe, which is believed to be related to the unit used in the Ranger Raptor.
There’s no torque or performance figures quoted as yet, though we do know the Edge in the UK uses an eight-speed automatic transmission.
