Henrik Fisker took to Twitter, revealing a ute will sit alongside its all-electric SUV in the range.

Fisker is developing a pure-electric ute to sit alongside its Tesla Model Y rival, the company’s founder has confirmed.

Details about the ute are scant, but Henrik Fisker overnight tweeted a mockup of a ute tailgate and canopy, and confirmed the brand’s next models will share a platform with the as-yet unnamed SUV.

“ALL automotive segments have to be electrified!” Fisker tweeted.

“After our Fisker electric SUV, we have already decided on our next 2 EV’s [sic] on the same platform!”

Production of the all-electric Fisker SUV will begin in the second half of 2021, suggesting a 2022 arrival is on the cards. Fisker also confirmed the car will be offered in the UK.
