Offered by Nissan Canada is an NFT of an original illustration by Canadian artist Alex McLeod, depicting a 2022 Nissan GT-R Nismo in a futuristic fantasy environment. The package includes video and illustrated asset licences, but it comes with an important component which makes this auction actually worth winning.

With a reserve price of $CA280,000 ($AU305,000), the auction will contribute anything additional to charity.
Other recent NFT auctions in the automotive space have been limited to the digital rights to an asset, of which the long-term future value is yet to be determined.
Given the R35 GT-R is set to end production within the coming years, a real example of the peak of the lineage is bound to be worth more to a vehicle collector.
The GT-R Nismo costs $378,000 before on-road costs in Australia, making this a pretty good deal for anyone keen for the mighty 441kW/652Nm super-sports machine in their driveway, and a unique and arguably ‘priceless’ licence of digital artwork on their wall – providing of course you print it yourself.
