When the Ram TRX came out back in 2020, it was touted as a Raptor-killer. Everyone patiently waited for the third-gen Ford F-150 Raptor to arrive, which took longer than anticipated since the 14th-gen 2021 F-150 was out for quite some time. The anticipation was because the TRX had the one major thing the F-150 Raptor didn’t – a V-8 engine. When the third-gen F-150 Raptor was finally revealed, it still didn’t feature a V-8.
