Dodge is sending off the V-8-powered Challenger and Charger in the most American way possible. Previously, the Challenger was given a bolder and more muscular look with the Shakedown edition, but Dodge is not yet done. The brand is now adding another special edition model to the Charger and the Challenger lineup called Swinger. In case you did not know, Dodge, like other Stellantis-owned brands, is embracing electrification as the only way forward to keep its lineup intact in the future. So yes, the V-8 growls will be missed, and the ‘Last Call’ series ensures that the good-old V-8 legacy leaves a sizeable mark as it exits.
