Dear Drive… I need to replace my 2016 Honda HR-V. Should I buy another one second-hand, or get a smaller but new MG ZS for the same price?

So, which would you prefer: a familiar, well-built, and well-packaged car which is now mildly dated (there’s an all-new HR-V on sale now) and may end up with some extra costs, or something a little bit smaller, that you need to re-learn, but with the peace of mind of a long-warranty and managed cost?
