The Pick of the Day is a customized 1941 Cadillac Series 62 coupe being advertised by a dealer in St. Louis, Missouri.
“This car has been tastefully built with the right running gear, and fantastically maintained Series 62 are some of the most popular classic Cadillacs,” the dealer reports in the Caddy’s ClassicCars.com advertisement.
“This ride was shot in a fantastic 2-tone gray-and-white paint job that catches eyes while cruising. The burgundy interior was tastefully done and has upgrades where it matters. The pinstriping is bright and compliments the exterior nicely.”
Indeed, based on the photographs that are part of the ad, this car will draw attention, both for its exterior and interior, and that includes the interior beneath the hood.
“Many classics get a bad reputation for handling, but this 1941 Cadillac Series 62 handles like a dream,” the dealer promises. “There are coil over shocks on all four corners and they are dialed in perfectly to give a firm ride in the corners yet stay comfortable over bumps.”
Empowering the classic but customized Caddy is a 502cid crate engine.
“Pop that hood and you will see a fantastically polished and chromed-out crate 502. These ram jet 502 V8s from GM run like hell, and are not shy to make a car like this get up to speed.
