BMW promises a number of prominent vehicles will be shown at the Motorclassica event in Melbourne this weekend, with hints of the all-new M2 also being shown to VIPs.

The 2023 BMW M3 Touring and 2023 BMW XM will soon be on display in Melbourne.

The German luxury carmaker has also hinted at another model being available to view “behind closed doors” ahead of its global reveal later this month – likely being the 2023 BMW M2, though this hasn’t been confirmed.

Accompanying the new models will be prominent vehicles from BMW M’s history, including the 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL ‘Batmobile’, the 2003 BMW M3 CSL (E46), and the 2016 BMW M4 GTS.

“Our exhibition space at Motorclassica 2022 will truly celebrate the BMW M division in grand and appropriate style,” said Alex McLean, General Manager of Marketing at BMW Australia.

Motorclassica will be held at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton, running from Friday 7 October to Sunday 9 October 2022.
