We knew for quite some time now that BMW’s V-8 and V-12 engines are living on borrowed time. In fact, when the new generation 7 Series will arrive at the end of 2022, none of these engines will be offered. Instead customers will have to choose between straight-six, hybrid or all-electric versions.
Now, BMW confirmed that the last V-12 will be produced in June 2022 and, to mark the event, it will launch a total of 12 M760i Final V12 Edition units. Each will carry a price tag of $200,000, plus destination fees and will be distinguished by unique badging, wheels, and a vast collection of exterior colors and upholstery.
